Ralf Groenemeyer

Ralf Groenemeyer has been working in capital markets
since 1983. He started his career as a broker for German stocks with focus on English and American investors. In the following years he was employed with well-known banks in Frankfurt, Munich in several, managing positions and earned himself a wide knowledge in the areas marketing, sales, capital markets and stock analysis. In 1997 the “Deutschland Strategieprodukt”, which he developed, was voted best in the market from institutional investors. At last, Mr. Groenemeyer was Manager of the German products with Commerzbank. Before he came to Silvia Quandt Research GmbH in fall 2007, he started to focus on real estate and the finance sector.

Dr. Bernhard Eschweiler

Dr. Bernhard Eschweiler

Senior Economic Advisor

Most recently Dr. Eschweiler worked for 17 years in leading positions for the US-investment bank J.P. Morgan, from which he spent the final 14 years in Asia. At first he worked as chief economist and later as Global Head for central bank clients.

In his role as senior Economic Advisor Dr. Eschweiler supports Silvia Quandt & Cie. AGs Management in research as well as client business.

Harald Gruber

Renewable Energies, Chemicals

Since 1986 Harald Gruber is working as a sell side analyst for numerous international banks. The focal point of his sector studies, which are primarily demanded by national and international institutional investors, is since then mainly chemistry, basic goods, pharma and consumer goods. The approach was and is throughout pan-european orientated. Mr. Gruber received 2004-2006 several awards, among others best chemical analyst Germany, best analyst outside Schwitzerland for swiss chemical values, best analyst in Germany for German small/midcap stocks and an award for the best timing (Linde). In the last few years he was Manager of chemical analysis with Julius Bär and WestLB before he came to Silvia Quandt Research GmbH last year.

Jacques Abramowicz

Technology, media and telecommunication

In 1990 Jacques Abramowicz received his trading license in London. First as an option trader soon he changed to sales. After a few years with Merrill Lynch he changed to WestKA where as global head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications he managed a team of analysts and fund manager. In addition, he was a significantly involved with the development of an investment process which is still used until today. In 2002 he established TMT Consulting e.k. which is a management consultancy for the TMT sector.

Christian Muschick

Insurance, Financial Services

Beginning his career in strategy consulting, Christian Muschick in 2006 entered Equinet as sell-side Analyst. There he successively built a coverage of the German financial services and insurance sector. Additionally, he was behind most of Equinet’s strategy research. Since joining Silvia Quandt Research GmbH he covers German financial services and European insurers.

Stefan Mühlbauer

Life Science

Stefan Muehlbauer has been active as a “Sell-Side” Analyst for a variety of international banks since 2001 where he has been analyzing the German Pharmaceuticals and Biotech sector. His research findings since then have been addressing the need of institutional investors for fundamental research of the Pharmaceuticals sector. Bevor starting at Silvia Quandt Research GmbH Stefan Muehlbauer was responsible for the german Pharmaceutical and Biotech research produkt with the Bank Julius Baer/Keppler Equities and CA Cheuvreux. In 2008 he took over responsibility for Equity Sales to US and UK institutional investors. Since starting at Silvia Quandt Research GmbH Stefan Muehlbauer is the head of Life Science research with a focus on German and European Pharmaceutical and Biotech universe.

Klaus Kränzle

Consumer and Retail

Klaus Kraenzle has worked since 1998 for large German Savings Banks (“Sparkassen”) in the investment advisory department for retail customers and was in charge oft the strategy there. In 2007 he joined the independent Research Company GSC Research and focused on German Small- and Midcaps. His work was granted in 2009 with the Handelsblatt Award as best Anaylst in the Consumer and Retail sector. Also he won in 2009 the Financial Times Award as best European Analyst in the category “Non food Retail”. In 2010 he repeated his success and was ranked second in the Handelsblatt Analyst Award again for the German Consumer and Retail sector. Klaus Kraenzle joined Silvia Quandt Research GmbH in October 2010.

Dr. Stefan Kick

Transport and Logistics

Dr. Stefan Kick has worked as an equity-analyst for various international banks, where he was responsible for European Transport and Logistics stocks. Before he changed to Silvia Quandt Research GmbH, Dr. Stefan Kick covered at BHF-Bank/ING Financial Markets and Berenberg Bank stocks in the European Transportation sector. At Silvia Quandt Research GmbH, Dr. Stefan Kick is as a Senior Analyst responsible for German and European Transport and Logistics stock.

Eerik Budarz

Industrials

The economist Eerik Budarz commenced his career at the American International Group in New York and Frankfurt. At AIG, he focused on industrial casualty analysis for underwriting. In the following years, Eerik was employed as a sell-side equity analyst for B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. During this time the US and Finnish citizen headed German industrial sector research. Advising international institutional investors, Eerik was awarded the prize “Europe’s No.2 Stock Picker in the Machinery Industry” by FT Starmine for 2009. Silvia Quandt Research GmbH was joined by Eerik in 2010 where he henceforth has been in charge of industrial stock research.

Albrecht Denninghoff

Automotives

Denninghoff (43) started his career as an analyst for the automotive branch among others more than 15 years ago at the Bankgesellschaft Berlin. Afterwards he worked as a senior analyst for the European automobile branch for top adresses like Hypovereinsbank (now Unicredit), Commerzbank and recently at BHF Bank. From November 1st 2010 Albrecht Denninghoff, one of the most experienced and well known automotive analysts in Germany will be head of the automotive sector.

Michael Busse

Capital Goods

Michael Busse worked for LBBW, where he concentrated particularly on Siemens, Infineon and Software AG. From 2001 to 2007 he worked for Helaba Trust as an analyst. He covered industry values, technology titles and semiconductor manufacturers. The Diplom Kaufmann (German business administration degree) and Magister Artium (M.A.) studied business administration and history at Sorbonne in Paris and at the University of Marburg. He speaks English, French and Spanish fluently. From February 2011 Michael Busse is head of capital goods, IT and software.

Sebastian Zank

Renewables Utilities

The 32-year-old Sebastian Zank comes from WestLB Equity Markets where he collaborated on the coverage of German renewable energies, including the engineering values of this sector. He started his career as consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers with focus on German energy supply. Zank is Diplom-Kaufmann (German business administration degree) and has a qualification as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Since mid-May 2011 Sebastian Zank is head of renewables & utilities.
